Zdenek Habala was the first to bust in the money (earning a €2,070 mincash), when he moved all in with vs. the of Jeffrey Schuman.  He spiked straight away with the flop coming , but the turn and river were the fourflushing his opponent.

Also busting to a rivered flush is Mikhail Kladov, whose last shortstacked stand was with vs. Georgi Pleshkov’s (he had actually shoved first, being short too).  The flop brought two hearts, and the river a cruel .

Tero Salonen too made a last-ditch effort to double up with but ran smack into the Jacks of Anthon-Pieter Wink.

CZECH CHECK

Although requests in the shoutbox move too fast (and are too multilingual) a lot of the time  – apologies if we don’t notice if someone has been requested for a chip count or a story – we were told that there’d been someone asking about players from the Czech Republic.  Luckily, I spotted three wearing shirts which had the correct flag on them earlier, and thought that would be an Easy Win.

Wrong – just as I arrived at the back table, one of these players was being eliminated – Stanislav Lejsek.  He had a face like he’d swallowed a wasp and was joined by another player wearing the Czech Republic Unibet shirt on his walk to the rail!

This does, however, leave Zdenek Habala, at least, who has 11k at the moment, progress from the start, but not in the best shape comparative to the average, as there are just 135 left out of the 230 starters.
