The board now says that 179 players remain out of a total (so far) field of 199. That means that (brain gears ratchet creakily into action) 20 players have already met their tournament maker. I finally managed to catch one of those hapless folks in the very act of kicking the tournament bucket, like so:
Ryan Kelly, short-stacked, open-shoved for maybe 6k, and was quickly called by Mark Barlow (pictured). Kelly turned over a speculative :::Jc :::Td, Barlow turned over a very premium :::As :::Ad, and following an academic board of :::8h :::3c :::6h :::Ks :::Js Kelly was suddenly gifted a free afternoon wandering the spotlessly clean and shiny halls of the Westfield shopping centre.
Barlow, at around 90k now, appears to be one of our chip leaders.
