Kilpeäinen Back Above Starting Stack

Alexis Gillot, Niko Kilpeäinen and Ruggiero Scommegna all saw a :::4s :::Jh :::As flop. It checked around to Scommegna on the button who bet 2,050, which Gillot (sadly no longer wearing his Luigi costume, right) called. Kilpeäinen, however, suddenly check-raised all in for 14,500 with intimidating confidence. It was enough to push both Scommegna and Gillot off the pot; Kilpeäinen raked it in, and he’s now up to 25,000 – back above his starting stack for what we think is the first time since the dinner break.
