Lappin Gets Hit Hard

Hugues Mazerolle opened to 900 from early position and David Lappin called from the cutoff. The two players saw a flop of :::qs:::7d:::3s and Mazerolle check-called a bet of 1,000 from Lappin.

The turn brought the :::5s and Mazerolle checked again. Lappin bet 2,500 and Mazerolle check-raised to 8,500 this time. Lappin called and the :::jh completed the board.

Mazerolle over-bet shoved all in for 35,500 and Lappin was on the edge of his seat as he thought about what to do.
