Two players including Danny Maes in the hijack had called for 300 before Unibet ambassador David Vanderheyden (pictured) made it 1,600 to go from the button. The player in the big blind called before both limpers came along to see a 9♣5♠3♣ flop.

Vanderheyden bet 1,800 after the action checked through to him, and two opponents folded before Maes raised to 6,000.

Vanderheyden called, and the a♦ appeared on the turn.

Maes bet 6,000 again, and Vanderheyden again obliged, before Maes again threw 6,000 into the middle after the 7♦ peeled off on the river.

Vanderheyden called, and Maes announced two pair, revealing 5♣3♦.

Vanderheyden mucked, and Maes won a second battle between the pair.
