Wieczorek Moves into Last Place as Moolhuizen Climbs

Down below the one million mark following a small pot lost to Dmitry Varlamov, Mateusz Moolhuizen min-raised to 64,000 from the button and Zbigniew Wieczorek called in the big blind to see a flop.

Flop: :::Jd :::5d :::Qd

Wieczorek checked and Moolhuizen bet 70,000, but Wieczorek then check-raised to 180,000. Moolhuizen thought about it for a while, checking his hole cards again in case they had perhaps changed into something different, and then made the call.

Turn: :::2s

Wieczorek checked again and Moolhuizen bet again, this time to the tune of 145,000. Wieczorek tanked up for a short time before check-raising to 300,000 – but Moolhuizen now announced all in for 681,000 total.

Now it was Wieczorek’s turn to sneak another peek at his hole cards. Presumably they had not magically morphed into different cards. He squinted at Moolhuizen’s stack for a bit, but finally decided to let it go, leaving himself with just a shade over 1  million. Moolhuizen is up to 1.6 million.
