It’s the Final Table

_DSC7305When we started today with 85 runners, we weren’t realistically expecting to make it all the way down to a final table, let alone at the relatively civilised hour of 1am. Yet here we are, down to just nine players while the Unibet Open Players’ Party is still raging somewhere across town – and what’s more, it’s going to be a cracker of a final table.

Perhaps most worthy of note is Dan Murariu. This is Murariu’s fourth Unibet Open final – he’s got two fifth place finishes and one outright victory, and will be very comfortable up on that TV table tomorrow.

Also of interest is Unibet.fr’s very own Flavien “Gerarddu74” Guenan, making his first Unibet Open final. France will be watching him with interest – can he head on to the next Unibet Open in Paris as the reigning champion?

And of course, we have our usual preponderance of Dutch and Belgian players – four of them will be gracing the final, including chip leader Filip Verboven.

Making up the rest of our final table are one Italian, one Slovakian and one Pole – a truly international affair, as always.

The live stream will be running from 2pm CET tomorrow, so you won;t have to miss a single hand of what promises to be a thrilling final. We’ll be blogging along with all the action, so be sure to join us then.

Until then, we reckon there’s still time to make it to the party…
