I won a seat! What do I do now?
You will receive an email from someone on the Unibet Poker Team describing the basics of the package and telling you what to do next. You will also receive a “follow up” email just prior to the event and it will serve as confirmation of your seat to the event, as well as your accommodation arrangements.
I have won a Unibet Open prize package (including seat, hotel and spending money) - can I bring a guest?
Yes. If you have qualified for the Unibet Open through winning a satellite tournament, or from one of Unibet’s online promotions, your prize package will more than likely include a double room where your guest may sleep at no extra cost. Please note that, all other costs incurred by your guest, such as meals, travel, internet etc, will not be covered in your prize package – they are for your guest’s account.
My package included €350 spending money. What’s that for?
The spending money (which has been credited to your Unibet account) is to be used towards your airfare and other travel expenses. Unibet supplements your travel arrangements with this amount. If you bring a guest, your guest is responsible for their own travel arrangements. If your travel arrangements cost more than this amount, the balance is for your own account.
Will I have access to my Unibet poker account to get cash while I’m attending the Unibet Open?
Not necessarily, so we advise that you please bring all the cash you need for incidentals and side play at the event.
Is my food included in the price of the trip?
If you have won a package that includes accommodation, breakfast is included as part of your hotel arrangements. We will provide a dinner meal as well – only on the days that you play. This will probably be provided at the casino. Your guest is responsible for their own meal arrangements.
Who runs the Unibet Open events?
They are organised by Unibet International, a publicly listed company on the Stockholm stock exchange.
Do I need a passport to attend the Unibet Open and/or the Casino?
Yes. All players traveling abroad will need a passport - and you will need to present your passport at the casino for entry/registration. If you don’t have a passport, please ensure you have another form of acceptable identification. If you wish to play games in the casino, you will definitely need a form of identification.
How will I get paid if I win the tournament?
All winnings will be paid to either your Unibet Poker account, or, by special arrangement, to your bank account.
I have won a Unibet Open prize package - do I have a hotel reservation?
Yes. Your hotel room will be booked in your name by Unibet for the specified dates. If you need to extend or amend your stay, you must contact the hotel directly. Unibet cannot do this for you. Players who have bought seats directly will need to make their own accommodation arrangements. Hotel information will be provided to qualified players a few weeks before the event.
