    FAQ

    What is Unibet Open?

Unibet Open is a series of live €1,500 poker tournaments held around Europe. For the full schedule, please visit the Home tab. The four-day events are capped at 450 players, and are comprehensively covered live on the Unibet Open website.

    Who is Unibet?

Unibet International is a publicly listed company on the Stockholm stock exchange. Started in 1997, Unibet.com provides a platform for online poker, games and a sportsbook to over 3.6 million customers, as well as operating Unibet Open, and providing live poker updates and news from the tournaments.

How can I play at the Unibet Open?

The buy-in for each tournament is €1,500 and payment for seats can be made directly via the online client available at www.unibet.com/poker (found under Tournaments> Special>Unibet Open DIRECT BUY-IN). Alternatively, packages can be won in regular online satellites (see How to Qualify). You can qualify for a full package (with accommodation and money for travel included) or via a seat-only satellite. Packages won are not transferable or refundable.

    What is the event like?

Over just three years, Unibet Open has grown from a single event into a tour spanning Europe. One of the reasons for its popularity is the atmosphere at each event – a volatile mix of qualifiers, amateurs and professionals playing for six-figure prizepools makes each one a unique and exciting experience. At the same time the emphasis is on enjoying the competition, seeing the sights in the beautiful host locations and enjoying the Unibet Open hospitality in the players’ lounge, at parties and side events.

    Will there be parties?

Yes. Unibet Open always hosts a Welcome Party, and there are usually trips arranged outside the casino for players. Plus the players’ lounge welcomes all players during the evening.

Can I bring friends to the event?

Yes. If you have qualified for the tournament through Unibet.com, your prize package includes a double room where your guest may sleep at no extra cost. However, all other costs incurred by your guest, such as meals, flights etc. will not be covered in your prize package.

Do I have to book a hotel?

If you have won a package through Unibet.com, then your hotel room will be booked in your name by Unibet for the specified dates (information will be provided to qualifiers). If you need to extend or amend your stay, you must contact the hotel directly. Players who have bought seats, or qualified via a seat-only satellite will need to make their own accommodation arrangements.

Is food provided at the event? Free Drinks?

Breakfast is included as part of your hotel package and you will be treated to dinner at the casino. Soft drinks are complimentary for players in the tournament.

    Can I wear logos?

Yes – however there are regulations governing the wearing of sponsors’ logos or branding. For full details click here.

Are there any other requirements to play in the tournament?

Before the tournament starts, all participants are required to provide their permission (in writing) for use of their image by media.
