Gaddo Busto
There was around 9,000 in the pot by the time I got there on the turn, the board reading :::8c :::2h :::Ad :::Th. Fabien Guenan had checked from the cutoff; on the button, Rodolfo Gaddo had bet 3,900. After a bit of a tank, Guenan announced all in, easily covering Gaddo who had around 16,500 left behind.
Gaddo disappeared into the tank for some minutes, and when emerged it was to call all in.
“Awww,” said table and rail alike as the cards were revealed.
Gaddo: :::As :::8s for two pair
Guenan: :::Ah :::Ac for top set – bit of a cooler
The river came down an inconsequential :::Kc and Gaddo was gone, various Italians running after him to offer consolation. Guenan meanwhile appears to be our chip leader on over 60,000.
