Lindqvist Crippled

I hope Per Lindqvist likes rice, because a tiny bowl of it is all that he’s been left with after a run in with Miguel Iglesias.

Lindqvist made the initial raise to 8,000 before Iglesias made it 20,900 from the big blind. After a time Lindqvist flat-called and they saw a flop.

Flop: :::8c :::2c :::3c

Iglesias bet out 20,100 and Lindqvist called again. Onwards to the turn.

Turn: :::Td

This time Iglesias tanked up for a while before checking. Lindqvist also tanked up for a bit, and then bet 60,000. Iglesias now went all in for what later turned out to be 108,000; Lindqvist snap-called.

“I have,” said Iglesias, and indeed he did – not a flush, but :::Kh :::Ks.

“Oh congrats,” said a rather surprised Lindqvist, turning over :::Qh :::Qd.

River: an inconsequential :::Jh

Iglesias doubled to around 300,000; Lindqvist was left with less than 5,000. “I think I’m all in next hand. I don’t know,” said Lindqvist drily. Dry, like plain rice. I personally would put money on him not making it to the dinner break.
