2010 Unibet Open London runner-up Yordan Mitrentsov and Dmitrii Sukhorukov were the first two casualties of the day, losing their entire 300 big blinds within the first level of the day. The chips went to Serban Asmarandie and John Heming respectively, and the latter faces 2017 Unibet Open Copenhagen champion Kaarel Lepik on his left.
