Welcome to Estonia!

For the first time in Unibet Open history the highly coveted European poker tournament finds itself in the Estonian capital of Tallinn. While Tallinn has never seen the joy and excitement of a Unibet Open tournament the city is no stranger to poker. Many international poker tournaments have found their way to this city that’s known for it’s historical city centre and the Toompea Castle.

This week the Unibet Open will crown a champion in the city that holds more than a third of Estonia’s population. Tallinn is particularly popular among Finnish tourists and poker players and we’re excepted to see a large turnout from the country that’s only a short boat ride away. As the Unibet Open was previously hosted in Riga twice we’re also expecting to see some of the familiar faces from those tournament stops.

Day 1a of Unibet Open Tallinn kicks off at 12:00 Noon local time and has a €1,000+€1,00 buy in. On the first day nine 60-minute levels will be played and, as usual, you can follow the full HD live stream from 14:00 onwards.

Our live commentary team of Greame Morl and David Vanderheyden is back with all your on the spot analysis and your host Laura Cornelius will introduce the city and its poker activities while also interviewing all the important players in today’s event.
