Hello and welcome to the Cercle Cadet Poker Room in the centre of the splendid city of Paris for the second Unibet Open of 2012! After Filip Verboven won €100,000 in Prague back in February, we’re looking at a potential record-breaking field that could reach anywhere up to 500 players.
People we’ve spotted who’ll be playing over the next couple of days include Dan Glimne, Alex Rousso and former EPT Grand Final winner Pieter de Korver – all of whom will be looking for that elusive Unibet title.
It’s taking some time to register the large numbers of people waiting to get in, combine that with the really bad traffic in Paris at the moment and there’s definitely a good chance this tournament might have a delayed start. Nevertheless, we’ll be bringing you all the action and news from this event, one with the potential to be the biggest Unibet event ever!
