Wely Gets Bogged Down

Loek van Wely raised to 525 preflop, Filip Verboven made it 1,400 from the button and van Wely then four-bet to 3,525, Verboven came back over the top with a five-bet to 6,200 and after some deliberation, van Wely flat-called.

The flop was :::Ad:::Qc:::6h and van Wely check-called a bet of 4,500, both players then checked the :::8s turn before van Wely also checked the :::Ts river. Verboven moved all in and the Dutchman, who made the final table in Riga, thought for about a minute before announcing a call.
