Wieczorek Near-Doubles Through Stuchlik

Krzysztof Stuchlik min-raised to 40,000; both Zbigniew Wieczorek on the button and Dmitry Varlamov in the big blind made the call and they all three saw a flop.

Flop: :::Jd :::Ad :::4c

Varlamov checked to Stuchlik, who bet 55,000. Wieczorek called, Varlamov – who as we mentioned before seems to like his folds – folded, and they went heads up to the turn.

Turn: :::Ac

This time Stuchlik checked, before calling a 120,000 bet from Wieczorek – all of this in slow motion – and they continued on to the river.

River: :::2c

Stuchlik checked again, and this time the bet from Wieczorek was a hefty 280,000 – particularly hefty given that he only left himself 200,000 behind. Stuchlik tanked up for some minutes before making the call – and then promptly mucked to Wieczorek’s :::Jc :::9c backdoor flush.

Current standings: Wieczorek 1.2 million, Stuchlik 470,000.
