Zainescu Gives Up

Carmen Zainescu raised to 175,000 from the under the gun position while holding a pair of sevens in her hand. Amir Shomron called from middle position with :::As:::9s. The other players moved out of the way.

The flop came down :::Qc:::Jh:::8c and Zainescu continued. She put 115,000 in the middle and Shomron wanted to know how much Zainescu had behind. Shomron opted to go for the raise as he put 300,000 in the middle, putting the pressure on Zainescu. She let go of her hand and Shomron collected the pot.
